Why EMS Vehicles Break More Often Than Civilian Cars
An EMS unit has more moving parts than a sedan: a lightbar linked through carvariations.meta, siren settings in carcols.meta, a liveried YTD and often a bed or partition as an extra. Most free EMS mods fail on at least one of those. Ours are checked on each point before they go on sale.
Lights that actually work
The siren setting link lives in carvariations.meta, not vehicles.meta. In the manifest, data_file lines must load vehicles.meta before carvariations.meta or the lightbar stays dark. Every EMS pack ships in that order, and the siren IDs are kept inside the valid range.
One merged resource
The packs arrive as a single folder with one validated fxmanifest.lua and a lowercase stream/ directory (a capital Stream/ means no spawn on Linux hosts). Drop, ensure, restart - the install guide covers it.
Siren audio included
Engine and siren audio ship with the pack (.dat151.rel plus the wavepack folder), so units are not silent on arrival. Unique modkit IDs keep tuning menus from colliding with vehicles you already run.
Streams under 16 MB
Liveries are the usual cause of oversized textures. Each YTD is compressed under the 16 MB per-texture limit that otherwise makes FiveM drop textures or spawn the unit as a tanker. Same pipeline as our public Optimizer.

FiveM EMS Pack Questions
Do the EMS vehicles have working lights and sirens?
Yes. Each unit has its siren setting linked in carvariations.meta, a matching carcols.meta entry, and the manifest loads vehicles.meta before carvariations.meta so the lightbar initializes. Siren audio is bundled. They are non-ELS: lights work out of the box with the default emergency controls, no extra script.
Does the EMS pack work with ESX and QBCore?
Yes. The pack is a standard addon resource, framework-agnostic. Add one ensure line to server.cfg. Spawn names are listed in the pack documentation so you can add the units to your job garage or ambulance job config. The install guide walks through both frameworks.
Can I buy just one EMS vehicle instead of the pack?
Yes. Every liveried unit listed above is sold on its own and is the same optimized resource. The pack is the cheaper route once you need three or more, and 2 packs of any kind save 10% at checkout, 3 or more save 15%.
What happens if a unit does not spawn or loses its lights?
We repair or replace it, usually the same day. First check the car-not-spawning guide for the two common causes (a capital Stream/ folder, or a stream file whose name does not match the modelName in the metas). If that does not solve it, bring the resource folder to Discord and you leave with a working unit.
