FiveM Offroad Trucks: Roof Rack, Bull Bar, Snorkel and More
To turn a FiveM truck or SUV into an offroad build, add a roof rack, a light bar, bull bar, snorkel, spare wheel carrier, mud flaps and rock sliders to the car model. The FiveMRides Vehicle Studio Overland kit measures your car, fits eight original parts to its roof, bumper and wheels, and builds them into the files as extras or tuning shop options.
- Tool: the Overland kit in the FiveMRides Vehicle Studio. Price for the kit on a car: free.
- 8 parts: roof rack (jerrycans, spare), roof light bar, light pods, bull bar, snorkel, spare wheel carrier, mud flaps, rock sliders.
- Auto fit: the tool measures the roof, bumper and wheels, so a pickup and a sedan both get parts that fit.
- In game: always on, an extra (1 to 12) players switch, or a tuning shop option. The parts are visual, with no collision.

What is in the kit?
| Part | What you choose | Where it sits |
|---|---|---|
| Roof rack | Jerrycans, a spare, finish | On the roof plateau, one leg length per foot to follow a curved roof |
| Roof light bar | Mounted on the rack or on the roof | Roof |
| Light pods | One or two sets | Front, with stems that reach the real surface |
| Bull bar | Finish | Front bumper, width from the car, legs reach the bumper |
| Snorkel | Left or right | Along the A-pillar line |
| Spare wheel | Mud-terrain tyre, a rim from 20 offroad rims, finish, placement | Rear, tailgate, bed, lying on the roof rack, or on the bonnet, then drag it freely |
| Mud flaps | Finish | Behind each wheel |
| Rock sliders | Finish | Along the sills at the lowest outer wall |
Finishes are black powder coat, steel, chrome, body colour (paint 1 or 2) or a custom colour. All parts are original models made for this tool. The spare wheel has a mud-terrain tyre and a rim you pick from 20 offroad rims of our Rims library (the default is a beadlock look), in black or body color. It is sized from your car’s own wheel. The new spare options are being checked in game.

Which trucks suit it?
Pickups and SUVs show the kit best, because a rack, a bull bar and sliders need a roof, a front bumper and sills to fit. If you are still looking for the vehicle, browse FiveM trucks, the FiveM lifted trucks page or our offroad ATV pack, then bring the one you pick to the Vehicle Studio.
How do I add overland parts to a FiveM car?
- Open the Vehicle Studio. Upload your car and open the Overland kit in the left rail.
- Pick parts. Add a part from the list (up to 12 items). Each one is fitted by measuring the car and shown in the 3D preview.
- Adjust. Choose options (jerrycans, spare tyre and rim, pod count), the finish, and nudge position or rotation with the gizmo if needed.
- Choose how each part is fitted. Always on, an extra slot, or a tuning shop slot with a name you choose.
- Build and install. Download the resource, add it to your server and check the car in game.

Extras, tuning options or fixed
- Fixed: the part is always on the car. Simplest for a prop car.
- Extra: one extra (1 to 12) can switch several parts at once, so players can have a clean car or an expedition car.
- Tuning option: the part becomes an option in a tuning shop slot (roof, bumpers, skirt or the chassis slots). Extras and tuning for the same part are not combined.
Extras the car already uses are greyed in the tool and refused by the server. A small /overland command switches the overland extras of the car you drive on or off.
What we saw in game
We saw the kit on a pickup with all eight parts built in, on a sedan with a rack and pods, and on a second pickup with the rack and bar on extras and the bull bar, snorkel and sliders as tuning options. The lenses of the light bar and pods glow with the headlights, which we confirmed on both pickups, and extras 11 and 12 switch on and off from the vMenu extras list. The measured fit can drift by a few centimetres on some cars. We have not tested every car, and GTA V Enhanced is untested.

Limits
- No collision. The parts are visual, like the tow hitch: other cars and people pass through a rack by a few centimetres, and the bull bar does not push.
- The lenses glow with the headlights but are not a light source: they do not throw a beam on the road.
- At most 12 items per car: one of each part, two snorkels and two sets of pods.
- Pair it with real lighting from siren lights or LED strips if you need light.
Overland parts questions
How do I add a roof rack to a FiveM car?
Open the Overland kit in the FiveMRides Vehicle Studio, upload the car, add the roof rack, choose jerrycans or a spare and a finish, and build. The rack is fitted to the roof by measuring the car.
How do I make a FiveM offroad truck?
Start from a truck or SUV you have the right to modify, upload it to the FiveMRides Vehicle Studio and add the Overland kit parts you want. The tool fits them to the roof, bumper and wheels, so a lifted truck and a sedan both get parts that sit correctly.
How much does the Overland kit cost?
Price for the kit on a car: free, whatever the number of parts up to the limit of 12 items.
Do the parts have collision?
No. They are visual only, which keeps handling and damage untouched. A bull bar does not push other vehicles.
Will the parts fit my car?
The tool measures the roof, bumper and wheels and fits each part, then shows it in the preview so you can nudge it. Unusual bodies can need a manual adjustment.
Can players take the rack off?
Yes, if you build it as an extra or a tuning shop part. One extra can switch several parts.
Do the light bar and pods really light up?
Their lenses glow with the car’s headlights, which we saw in game on two pickups, using the same mechanism as the LED strips. They are not a light source and do not light the road.
Can I choose the spare wheel and where it goes?
Yes. The tool offers a mud-terrain tyre and one of 20 offroad rims, a finish, and a placement on the rear, tailgate, bed, roof rack or bonnet that you can then drag freely. It is sized from your car’s wheel and it is not a copy of your own wheel. This option is being checked in game.
