FiveM Police Car Maker
Lights, Livery and Unit Numbers in Your Browser
You can turn almost any FiveM car into a police unit in your browser: the FiveMRides Vehicle Studio adds non-ELS emergency lights, a unit number on each car, window film, extra seats and bulletproof glass, and the Livery Studio paints the department livery, then each tool exports a ready FiveM resource. Lights cost 1 credit per car, the fleet numbers are free, and the upload and 3D preview are free with an account. Both tools are in beta.
What Each Tool Adds to a Police Car
Every part is optional and priced on its own. The Vehicle Studio quote lists each line before you confirm, and credits are charged only after the resource is built and verified, so a failed build is not charged.
| Tool | What it does for a police unit | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Emergency lights | GTA vanilla style lightbars, push bar, visor, rear window and grille LEDs: up to 20 lights, red, blue, amber or white each, 6 flash patterns and headlight or taillight wig-wag. Native (non-ELS) sirens. | +1 credit per car |
| Fleet generator (callsign / unit numbers) | Up to 60 unit numbers on the roof, rear quarters and doors, each a tuning option of the car, so every vehicle keeps its own number (set with /unit 07, a script export or a mod menu). Department name, logo and an optional stripe for the whole model. | Free per fleet |
| Livery | A department livery painted in the Livery Studio (a separate tool): six-view template, police Battenberg preset, logos and text, exported with working livery slots. | 1 credit per export (Livery Studio) |
| Window film | Tinted windows in any colour and darkness, on the windows you choose. | +1 credit per car |
| Windshield banner | Text or an image on the windscreen, the rear window or a side window. | Free per car |
| Seats | Add seats or move the original ones, for a bigger crew or a transport unit. Up to 16 seats per car. | +1 credit per car |
| Bulletproof | Bulletproof windows, or Full: windows, weapon-damage settings and tyre protection. You get a standard and a bulletproof download. | +3 (windows) or +5 (Full) |
| LED strips | Extra strips with a siren trigger, so they light while the siren runs. | +1 credit per car |
| Debadge | Remove real brand badges and painted logos before the car becomes a unit. | 2 credits per vehicle, only if you debadge |
| Plate Creator | A department plate design around the number your server already sets. | Free |
Example build
A car without badges with lights and a window film and fleet numbers: 2 credits. The same with bulletproof windows: 5 credits. A branded car that needs a debadge first: 4 credits. With Studio Pro (45 credits a month) that is several units a month; Studio Unlimited has no credit charge. Compare Studio plans.
How to Make a FiveM Police Car, Step by Step
- Upload the car. Sign in and drop the vehicle resource (
.zipor.rar) in the Vehicle Studio. One vehicle per upload for the add-ons. Upload only cars you own or have permission to modify. - Debadge if needed. Remove real brand badges and painted logos so the unit reads as your department's car.
- Add the lights. Open Emergency lights, drop a lightbar, push bar or LED preset on the car (it snaps to the roof, the grille or the glass), pick colours and a flash pattern, and watch it flash in the 3D preview. How the lights work in the game: FiveM police lights explained.
- Add the callsign or unit numbers. In the Fleet generator, set a range such as 01 to 50, choose where the number goes and add the department name, logo and an optional stripe. Guide: FiveM vehicle callsign and unit numbers.
- Finish the unit. Window film, extra seats, bulletproof windows or Full protection, a windshield banner, all from the same tool rail.
- Build, download and test. Check the quote, build, and test the resource on your server. Close FiveM completely after you update a car.
- Paint the livery. For a full department livery, run the car through the Livery Studio: click the panels, start from the police Battenberg preset or your own design, and export with working livery slots. Need a template first? See FiveM livery template.
What the Police Car Maker Cannot Do
- No ELS. The lights use native GTA sirens. The tool does not write ELS configuration files; how the lights switch on depends on your server's siren script (we tested Renewed-Sirensync).
- GTA vanilla style lightbars only. The presets are the lightbars, push bar and LEDs of the base game's police cars plus simple FiveMRides presets, not branded real-world light models.
- Cars that already have siren bones cannot get new lights yet. Up to 20 lights, 16 seats and 128 bones per car; the editor counts them live.
- The livery is a separate tool. The Livery Studio and the Vehicle Studio each export a resource. We have not tested every order and combination of the two on the same car, so test the final resource on a server.
- Tested menus, not every menu. Liveries were switched with vMenu and the lights driven by Renewed-Sirensync on our test server. Other menus and scripts may behave differently.
- Beta. Both tools are in beta and some cars cannot be opened by the export engine: you are told before anything is charged.

Police Car Maker Questions
Can I make a FiveM police car without Blender?
Yes. Upload the car to the FiveMRides Vehicle Studio in your browser, add the lights, unit numbers, window film or bulletproof windows you want, and download a ready FiveM resource. The livery is painted in the Livery Studio, also in the browser. The upload and the 3D preview are free with an account; credits are charged only after a build is verified.
Are the police lights ELS or non-ELS?
Non-ELS. The export adds siren bones, light lenses and a siren entry in carcols.meta and sets the car to the emergency class, so the lights run on the native GTA siren system or on a siren script that works with native sirens. We tested them with Renewed-Sirensync. The tool does not write ELS configuration files.
How much does it cost to make a police car?
It depends on the parts. Lights cost 1 credit and a window film 1 credit per car, the fleet numbers are free, so a car without badges comes to 2 credits; add bulletproof windows and it is 5 credits. Debadging adds 2 credits per vehicle, and a Livery Studio export is 1 credit. Studio Pro (45 credits a month) covers several units, and Studio Unlimited has no credit charge.
How do I add a callsign or unit number to a FiveM police car?
Make the callsign a unit number of the car. The Fleet generator in the Vehicle Studio builds one tuning option per unit (up to 60) on the roof, rear quarters and doors, and each vehicle keeps its own number, picked with /unit 07, a script export or a mod menu. One texture per unit would cost far more video memory.
How do I put a police livery on an add-on car?
If the car has no livery slot, the Livery Studio makes it livery-ready: it gives the panels you pick a livery UV on every LOD, switches them to the GTA livery shader and adds the slots, then you paint the livery (a police Battenberg preset is included). Switch liveries in game with a menu that uses the native GTA livery, such as vMenu.
Why do my emergency lights stay off on the server?
The usual cause is a siren slot conflict: GTA keeps only 256 siren ids and the first resource loaded keeps a slot. The Vehicle Studio picks a slot no vanilla siren and no FiveMRides catalog car uses and writes it in the resource. Close FiveM completely after any change, because the game keeps the first siren entry it loaded for the whole session.
