Rim Spin: Official Rules
Season 01 · Sunset Drive · Last updated October 12, 2026
Rim Spin is a free promotional game run by FiveMRides (fivemrides.com), “we” or “us”. By spinning, you agree to these rules. If anything on the Rim Spin page or in our posts differs from these rules, these rules apply.
1. Who can play
- You need a registered fivemrides.com account in good standing.
- You must have reached the age of majority where you live, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
- One account per person. Spins, prizes and Octane are personal and cannot be transferred, shared or sold.
- The game is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
2. How to get access
To spin, your account needs one of the following:
- Linked Discord + one paid purchase: link your Discord account from My Account, and have at least one paid order on your account (a $0 Studio free-car order does not count).
- Free entry, no purchase needed: use the “Request a free entry” form on the Rim Spin page. Our team reviews each request by hand, usually within 72 hours. An approved free entry gives the same access, the same free spins and the same odds as any other member.
3. Spins
- Free spins: Members get 1 free spin a week. Studio Pro: 2 a week. Studio Max: 1 every 2 days. Studio Unlimited: 1 every day. Weeks start on Monday and days follow Eastern Time (America/Toronto). Unused free spins do not carry over.
- Bonus spin: your first verified 5-star vouch in our Discord, from a customer with a paid order, gives 1 bonus spin. Once per account, ever.
- Extra spins: 100 Octane each.
- Daily limit: 3 spins per account per day, all types combined.
- Spins can never be bought with money.
4. Octane
Octane is a points balance with no cash value. You earn it from daily and weekly challenges shown on the Rim Spin page (such as checking in and running Studio jobs, capped at 50 Octane a day from jobs), +100 once for linking Discord, +1 Octane per $1 spent on paid orders, and a monthly bonus on Studio plans each time a payment goes through (Pro +100, Max +300, Unlimited +600). Octane cannot be bought on its own, transferred or exchanged for money. We may correct a balance that was credited by mistake.
5. Prizes and odds
Each spin wins exactly one prize. The odds are the same for every player, whatever their plan, and do not change with how many times you spin.
| Prize | Odds per spin | Approximate value |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Studio credit | 23% | $0.66 |
| 30% off coupon | 18% | 30% of the eligible items in your cart |
| +25 Octane | 16% | No cash value |
| 35% off coupon | 12% | 35% of the eligible items in your cart |
| 2 Studio credits | 10% | $1.33 |
| 40% off coupon | 8% | 40% of the eligible items in your cart |
| 5 Studio credits | 5% | $3.32 |
| 45% off coupon | 4% | 45% of the eligible items in your cart |
| Free car | 3% | Up to $14.99 |
| 25 Studio credits | 1% | $16.58 |
Credit values are based on our smallest credit pack (3 credits for $1.99). Studio credits are used in the Studio tools and never expire.
- Studio Unlimited members already have unlimited Studio jobs, so their credit prizes are swapped automatically: 1 credit becomes +15 Octane, 2 credits become +30 Octane, 5 credits become +50 Octane, and 25 credits become a free MLO coupon (one MLO up to $19.99).
- Free car: 1 per account per calendar month. If you land on FREE CAR again in the same month, you get +50 Octane instead.
6. Coupons
- Every coupon is a personal code created for your account. It shows in My Coupons, and we also tell you by email, by Discord DM when your Discord is linked, and on the site. We send a reminder 24 hours before it expires.
- Valid for 7 days, for one order, and only on the account that won it.
- Percent coupons apply to every eligible single item in your cart. Not eligible: packs and bundles, bulletproof vehicles, merch, Studio credits and Studio plans.
- Free car coupons cover one eligible single vehicle priced up to $14.99. Free MLO coupons cover one eligible MLO priced up to $19.99.
- Coupons cannot be combined with other coupons, the multi-pack discount or Studio plan perks.
- Prizes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and are not replaced if they expire unused.
7. Fair play
- The result of each spin is decided by our server with a secure random draw, before the animation starts. The animation only shows that result.
- Using several accounts, scripts, bots, chargebacks or any other trick to get more spins or prizes is not allowed. We may cancel the prizes and Octane involved and remove access to Rim Spin.
- If a technical error gives a wrong result or a prize by mistake, we may correct it.
8. Changes and ending
We may change these rules, the prizes, the odds or the free spins, or end Rim Spin, at any time. Changes apply to spins made after the update date shown at the top of this page. Coupons and Octane you already hold stay valid until their normal expiry, unless the game ends because the law requires it.
9. Privacy
We use your account details only to run the game: to check access, deliver prizes and send the notices above. In the live Studio feed and in our Discord, winners’ names are masked unless they choose to show them.
10. Questions
Open a Support ticket on our Discord. These rules are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
