What Is FiveM for GTA V Enhanced?
GTA V Enhanced is the modernized gen9 edition of the game - the version with the upgraded RAGE engine that current-generation consoles run. In July 2026, Cfx.re opened early access for FiveM on GTA V Enhanced: a separate client running alongside FiveM Legacy, with an overhauled OneSync that supports up to 2,048 players per server.
There is one catch for every server owner and player: custom vehicles built for Legacy do not natively load on Enhanced. The gen9 engine expects assets in a new format. Every YFT model and YTD texture has to be converted before an addon car will stream on an Enhanced server. That conversion is exactly what we have already done for you, catalog-wide.
Legacy is not going anywhere
Cfx.re has confirmed Legacy support continues and server upgrades are not mandatory. Legacy and Enhanced clients run side by side (no cross-play on the same server). That is why every product here keeps its Legacy file untouched - the Enhanced version is an addition, not a replacement.
How Our Enhanced Versions Are Built
Converted with the official tool
Every Enhanced version is produced with Alchemist, the official Cfx.re conversion utility, which rewrites each YFT, YTD, YDR and YDD asset from Legacy (gen8) to the Enhanced (gen9) format the new client expects.
Two downloads on every product
On each product page you get the original Legacy ZIP plus a "GTA V Enhanced (gen9)" ZIP. Same car, same price, both formats - existing spawn names and metas unchanged, so your garage scripts keep working.
Early Access, honestly labeled
FiveM Enhanced itself is in early access, and so is this line: the conversions are format-verified (gen9 RSC7 headers, validated archives), and we are progressively play-testing the catalog on the Enhanced client as the platform stabilizes. If a specific vehicle misbehaves on Enhanced, tell us and we fix or refund.
1,100+ vehicles and counting
Over 95% of the catalog is already Enhanced-ready. The remaining builds use exotic custom shaders the official tool cannot process yet - they will join the line as Cfx.re updates Alchemist.

If you run a Legacy server: nothing changes, and your files are future-proofed for the day you migrate. If you are spinning up an Enhanced server for the new client: you are exactly who this line is for - drop the Enhanced ZIP into resources, ensure, done. Installation is identical to Legacy (the install guide applies as-is), and converting your own mods stays easy with the Converter: build the Legacy resource here, then run it through Alchemist - the clean, validated output our converter produces is precisely what Alchemist wants as input.

Do Legacy FiveM cars work on GTA V Enhanced?
Not natively. Custom assets built for GTA V Legacy (gen8) are not compatible with the Enhanced (gen9) client - models and textures must be converted to the new format first. That is why every vehicle here now ships with a pre-converted Enhanced version alongside the Legacy one.
Do I have to pay again for the Enhanced version?
No. The Enhanced ZIP is a second download included on the same product - one purchase covers both formats.
Will my Legacy server break if I install the Enhanced version?
Use the file that matches your server: Legacy ZIP for a Legacy server, Enhanced ZIP for an Enhanced server. Spawn names and metas are identical between the two, so switching later means swapping the resource folder, nothing else.
How were the Enhanced versions converted?
With Alchemist, the official Cfx.re Legacy-to-Enhanced conversion tool, run across the full catalog. Each output is format-verified (gen9 resource headers, archive integrity) before going live, and the line carries an Early Access label while the Enhanced platform itself matures.
