The Map Studio is a browser editor for the GTA V pause map and the minimap radar. Design the look, check both previews, and download a ready FiveM resource for FiveM Legacy or GTA V Enhanced. Nothing to install on your computer.

What you can do

Start from 20 premade templates (Neon Synthwave, Toxic Slime, Ice Chrome, Clean Dark, Vice Sunset, Cyber Grid, Gold Rush, Blood Moon, Arctic, Toxic Waste, Candy Pop, Military Ops, Retro Arcade, Gang Turf, Police Dispatch, Lowrider, Tropical, Midnight Purple, Desert Storm, Halloween).
Pick one of 15 base maps, including an HD satellite map (Oulsen satmap, MIT licence, credited) and a terrain map.
Control the style: roads, land, water, labels with fonts, outline and shadow, zone colours and patterns, background shapes.
Write text that follows a road, and place 88 icons or your own (gang, business and job logos you upload).
Print postal codes and street names, and ship a matching /postal script with a HUD in the same export.
Add AI frames around the island, and use AI heal and erase to fix a corner of the art.
An export costs 10 credits (included with the Unlimited plan). Designing and previews are free. AI frames are 5 credits each, with a few free every week on Studio plans. A frame that fails costs nothing.
Export a sharp 4096 pause map and an HD radar, for FiveM Legacy or GTA V Enhanced.
Import a map pack you own, restyle expansion maps such as Roxwood (you supply the pack), and share maps to the Community gallery.
Live preview in game: see your new design on your server within seconds, no restart. Click Preview in game now and every player on your test server gets the new pause map and radar.
Pull the new map to a test server with the fmr_mapstudio_live resource and /maplive pull, then restart the server to install it for good.

How it works

Choose a template and a base map.
Style roads, land, water, names, zones and icons in Layers, and add a frame.
Check the Pause map and Radar previews.
Export for Legacy or Enhanced and put the resource on your server. The install guide has the steps.

The pause map is six minimap_sea tiles; the radar is a separate square texture plus the game’s vector road files, replaced so they do not draw over your art. The export covers both, so the pause map and the radar match.

What is the FiveMRides Map Studio?

A browser tool to design a custom GTA V pause map and minimap and export them as a FiveM resource. You pick a template, style the map, check the previews and download the files.

Do I need to install software?

No. The editor runs in your browser. You only install the exported resource on your FiveM server.

Does it work for FiveM Legacy and GTA V Enhanced?

Yes. You choose the game when you export, and each export is built for one edition. We checked both in game on our own test setups.

Can I add postal codes and a /postal command?

Yes. The postal layer prints codes on the map, and the export can include a postal script with /postal, a HUD option and waypoints by code, using the same numbers as the map.

Is there a satellite map?

Yes, one of the 15 base maps is an HD satellite map (the Oulsen satmap, MIT licence, credited in the export).

Can I use my own map pack or an expansion map like Roxwood?

You can import a pack you own and restyle expansion maps to match your theme. You supply the pack. Tiles outside the vanilla grid need the third-party Extra Map Tiles resource, which we do not ship.

How do I get the new map onto my server quickly?

Install the fmr_mapstudio_live and fmr_mapstudio_preview resources once on a test server. Live preview in game: see your new design on your server within seconds, no restart, with the Preview in game now button (FiveM Legacy servers). To install a map for good, use /maplive pull and restart the server: pulled files are not picked up by restarting only the resource.
