Chain Studio in one paragraph
The FiveMRides Chain Studio lets you design custom chains and pendants for FiveM in your browser, on a GTA freemode ped, and download a ready add-on clothing resource for your server. Pick from 14 link styles, hang pendants, lettering or your own logo, choose from 100+ finishes, and export one chain or a pack of up to 30 for male and female characters. Designing is free; exporting costs 10 credits per chain.
How it works
- Build the chainChoose a link style, width, length and number of strands. Set how it is worn: over a t-shirt (default), on a bare chest or over a jacket.
- Dress it upHang pendants, type a name in 3D letters, upload a logo or a photo, and give each part its own finish: gold, iced stones, enamel, opal, carbon, glow and more.
- Export to FiveMKeep your chains in My chains and export them as one resource. Drop it in your resources folder, add
ensurewith its name toserver.cfg, restart and reconnect.
Chains
- 14 link styles: cuban, miami cuban, rope, figaro, franco, tennis, baguette tennis, box, rolo, bead, byzantine, snake, herringbone and paperclip.
- Iced out: stone-set links and diamond tennis chains that sparkle.
- Multi-strand layers, your own width and length, or one of 42 ready-made presets to start from.
- Fit over clothes: t-shirt by default, bare chest or jacket, so the chain sits on the outfit instead of sinking into it.
Pendants and lettering
- 120 pendants to start from: hearts, stars, crosses, crowns, dog tags, medallions, icons and more, plain or iced.
- 3D lettering and nameplates with the stock fonts or your own TTF or OTF font.
- Your logo as raised metal, or a photo as a flat tag (PNG, JPG or WebP).
- Pendants clip onto the chain and space themselves out on the chest; move, rotate and scale them with the gizmo when you want.
100+ finishes
- Metals: yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, silver, platinum, black and your own tint, with a polish setting.
- Stones and enamels in every colour, plus opal, abalone, mother of pearl and marble.
- Textures: damascus, forged carbon, carbon weave, camo, holographic, snake and croc scales, nugget and more.
- Glow in the dark: emissive finishes that light up at night in game.
My chains: build a pack
- Keep up to 30 chains in My chains, rename and reorder them, and export them as one FiveM resource.
- Import a chain pack you already have (add-on ZIP or RAR) and add new chains to it. Imported chains keep their original files.
- Projects are saved to your account, so you can come back, change a chain and export again.
What is in the download
A FiveM resource you can drop straight into your server, with nothing to rename or renumber.
- Add-on clothing in the Accessories slot (component 7): your chains get their own collection, so base game chains and your other clothing packs are not overwritten.
- Male and female: a
.yddmodel and.ytdtextures per chain formp_m_freemode_01andmp_f_freemode_01, each fitted to that body and skinned so the chain moves with the ped. - Ready to stream: the
.ymt, the shop meta and thefxmanifest.lua, written for you. - Performance: lower detail versions for distance, at most 60 000 triangles per chain (the Studio shows the count while you design), textures under FiveM’s 16 MiB limit.
- A README with the install steps, where to find the chains in common clothing menus, and the list of chains with their numbers.
Pricing
10 credits per chain. Designing and the 3D preview are free with a FiveMRides account. You pay only for new chains you export: imported chains and chains you already paid for are free in a new pack. Credits are charged after the resource is built, a failed export is not charged, and Studio Unlimited members export for free.
Tested in game, with honest limits
- Exports were tested in game on a FiveM server in October 2026 on the male and female freemode peds. We have not tested every clothing script or every outfit, so try your chains on a test server before players use them.
- Chains are made for the freemode peds (
mp_m_freemode_01,mp_f_freemode_01), not for other ped models. - Hoodies and very bulky collars can still overlap a chain: pick the jacket fit or a longer chain for those outfits.
- Imported packs must be add-on chain packs (Accessories slot). Replacement packs and packs with other clothing are refused with a clear message.
- Uploaded logos, photos and fonts must be yours or used with permission. Brand logos you do not own are not allowed.

What is the FiveMRides Chain Studio?
A browser tool for FiveM server owners and players to design custom chains and pendants on a GTA freemode ped and download a ready FiveM add-on clothing resource. Each chain lands in the Accessories slot (component 7) for both the male and female freemode peds, with its .ydd, .ytd, .ymt and fxmanifest already written. No Blender, CodeWalker or 3D skills needed.
How do I make a custom chain for FiveM?
Open the Chain Studio, pick a link style and a length, add pendants, lettering or your logo, and choose a finish for each part. Keep the chain in My chains, add more if you want a pack, then click Export to FiveM. Drop the resource in your resources folder, add ensure with its name to server.cfg, restart the server and reconnect.
How much does a chain cost?
Designing and the 3D preview are free with a FiveMRides account. Exporting costs 10 credits per chain created, so a pack with 3 new chains costs 30 credits. Chains imported from an existing pack and chains you already paid for in an earlier export are free. Credits are charged only after the resource is built, a failed export is not charged, and Studio Unlimited members export for free.
Does it work for male and female characters?
Yes. Every export holds one version of each chain for mp_m_freemode_01 and one for mp_f_freemode_01, each fitted to that body, unless you choose a single gender.
Where do I find my chain in game?
In your clothing menu, in the neck slot: Scarf and chains in illenium-appearance and fivem-appearance, Neck Accessories in qb-clothing, chain 1 and chain 2 in esx_skin and skinchanger, and Scarfs & Chains in vMenu. Add-on chains are usually at the end of the list. The README in the ZIP lists every chain with its number.
Can I put my name, crew logo or a photo on a pendant?
Yes. Type a name to make 3D lettering or a nameplate with the stock fonts or your own TTF or OTF font, upload a logo to turn it into raised metal, or upload a photo for a flat picture tag. Images can be PNG, JPG or WebP. Only upload art you own or have the rights to use.
Can I make a chain pack or add chains to a pack I already have?
Yes. Keep up to 30 chains in My chains and export them as one FiveM resource. You can also import an existing add-on chain pack (ZIP or RAR, up to 100 MB) and add new chains to it: the imported chains keep their original files and are not charged.
Will the chain clip through a t-shirt or a jacket?
New chains are fitted over a t-shirt by default. You can switch the fit to bare chest or to jacket, and the minimum length follows the fit (50 cm bare chest, 53 cm t-shirt, 70 cm jacket). Hoodies and very bulky collars can still overlap a chain, so try it with the outfits your players use.
Does it replace the GTA chains or other clothing packs?
No. The export is an add-on: the chains get their own clothing collection, so base game chains and the other clothing packs on your server stay where they are.
Will custom chains slow down my server?
Each chain is limited to 60 000 triangles at its highest detail and gets lower detail versions for distance, and the Studio shows the triangle count while you design. Textures are packed into one atlas per chain and kept under FiveM's 16 MiB limit per texture.
