Why Truck Mods Break More Than Cars

Why do truck mods spawn as a tanker so often?

Trucks carry the largest textures of any vehicle class, so their YTD files most often exceed FiveM's 16 MB streaming limit. Over the cap, the model registers but cannot stream, and the engine substitutes a fallback - usually a tanker or trailer. Do lifted trucks handle correctly?

Yes - lifted builds ship with raised suspension geometry in handling.meta so the wheels sit where the fenders are, and the center of gravity matches the lift. A lifted body on stock handling values is what makes some mods drive like they float; ours do not.

Can I use these with tow and trucking job scripts?

Yes. Job scripts only need the spawn name (listed on every product page) and, for towing, the vehicle class - which is set correctly in vehicles.meta so trucks register as trucks, not cars.

Do truck beds and toppers work?

Where a build has a modular bed or topper, it is either baked into the base model or shipped as a properly-registered tuning part - never left to a polluted modkit table that loads parts randomly. That defect is one of the most common we repair in trucks from other sources.
