Your Players Are Leaving Because of Lag

Unoptimized vehicle resources are the #1 cause of texture loss, low FPS, and server crashes in FiveM. Most custom cars ship with oversized textures and unnecessary polygon counts that destroy your server performance.

Texture Loss

Vehicles appear blurry, flicker, or show missing textures when too many unoptimized cars are streamed. FiveM caps vehicle textures at 1024px — most custom cars ship at 2048-4096px for no reason.

Low FPS & Stuttering

High-poly models and uncompressed textures eat through VRAM. Players with mid-range PCs drop to 15-20 FPS in populated areas, leading to complaints and server abandonment.

16MB YTD Limit

FiveM has a hard 16MB streaming limit per YTD file. Many car packs exceed this — causing textures to simply not load. Players see default GTA textures instead of your custom cars.

AI-Powered Vehicle Optimization

Our optimizer uses smart compression algorithms that understand FiveM's rendering engine. Every texture type gets the optimal compression format. Every 3D model gets intelligent polygon reduction that preserves visual quality.

UNIQUE TECHNOLOGY

Smart Per-Type Texture Compression

Unlike any other tool, we detect texture types automatically and apply the optimal compression:

  • Normal maps → BC5/ATI2 — 2-channel compression, dramatically sharper than DXT5
  • Specular maps → BC7 — near-lossless quality at the same file size
  • Diffuse textures → DXT1/DXT5 — smart alpha detection
  • Script RT textures → automatically skipped (must stay uncompressed)

Intelligent 3D Model Decimation

6-step pipeline powered by Blender & Sollumz: merge duplicates, fix normals, remove hidden faces, protect sharp edges, planar dissolve flat surfaces, then smart collapse. Preserves body lines & UV mapping.

Automatic Resize to FiveM Limits

Textures are automatically resized to respect FiveM's streaming caps: 1024px for standard textures, 512px for RGBA. No more exceeding the 16MB YTD limit.

Ready-to-Install Output

Download a perfectly structured ZIP file. Drop it in your server resources folder, restart, done. Works with ESX, QBCore, vMenu, and any FiveM framework.

3 Steps. 30 Seconds. Done.

1

Upload Your Resource

Drag & drop your vehicle ZIP file or individual YTD texture file. Supports single vehicles, full car packs, and standalone textures up to 500MB.

2

Pick Your Preset

Optimized — zero visible quality loss, perfect balance. Or Maximum — aggressive compression for servers with 100+ vehicles. Choose textures only, models only, or both.

3

Download & Install

Get your optimized resource as a ready-to-install ZIP. Replace the original folder on your server, restart — instant FPS boost for every player.

Built for FiveM, Not Just Another Compressor

Understanding FiveM's Texture Pipeline

FiveM uses GTA V's RAGE engine with strict streaming limits. The str_maxVehicleTextureRes ConVar caps textures at 1024px, and str_maxVehicleTextureResRgba at 512px. Our optimizer respects these limits automatically — something most "optimization guides" on YouTube don't even mention.

Why BC5 for Normal Maps Matters

Most tools blindly compress everything with DXT5. But normal maps only use 2 channels (R & G). BC5/ATI2 is specifically designed for 2-channel data, delivering dramatically sharper normal maps at the same file size. The visual difference on reflective car surfaces is massive.

Intelligent Polygon Reduction

Our 6-step Blender pipeline is not a simple "reduce polys by 50%" slider. It first removes invisible geometry (interior faces, duplicates), then dissolves unnecessary flat-surface polygons for free, then applies smart decimation with sharp-edge protection. The result: 20-40% fewer polygons with zero visible change on body lines.

Powered by Sollumz & CodeWalker

We use the same tools that professional FiveM developers use: Sollumz (by Cfx.re/FiveM developers) for YFT import/export, CodeWalker for YTD texture manipulation, and BCnEncoder.NET for modern GPU compression formats. No shortcuts, no quality compromises.

Frequently Asked Questions

Texture loss occurs when FiveM can't stream all vehicle textures into memory fast enough. This happens because custom vehicles often have textures that are too large (2048px-4096px) when FiveM's engine caps vehicle textures at 1024px. Our optimizer automatically resizes and compresses textures to fit within FiveM's streaming limits while maintaining visual quality, eliminating texture loss entirely.

With our "Optimized" preset, there is zero visible quality loss. Since FiveM already caps textures at 1024px, downsizing from 4096px to 1024px doesn't change what players actually see in-game. Our smart compression (BC5 for normals, BC7 for specular) actually produces better visual quality than the generic DXT5 compression other tools use.

You can upload ZIP files containing full FiveM vehicle resources (with YTD textures and YFT/YDR 3D models), or individual YTD texture files. The tool handles single vehicles, multi-vehicle car packs, and standalone texture dictionaries. Output is always a clean, ready-to-install ZIP file.

ToolKitV is a solid desktop tool but only handles textures and uses generic compression for all texture types. Manual optimization with OpenIV takes 30-60 minutes per vehicle. Our tool is web-based (no download needed), handles both textures AND 3D models, uses smart per-type compression (BC5/BC7), and processes vehicles in about 30 seconds. We're the only tool that offers intelligent 3D model decimation for FiveM.

Yes. The optimizer works at the resource file level (YTD textures and YFT/YDR models), which is framework-agnostic. Whether your server runs ESX, QBCore, vMenu, QBox, or any other framework, optimized vehicles will work exactly the same. Just replace the original resource folder and restart.

FiveM has a hard 16MB physical size limit per YTD (texture dictionary) file. When a YTD exceeds this limit, textures fail to stream and players see default GTA textures or blurry placeholders. Our optimizer compresses and resizes textures to ensure every YTD file stays well under the 16MB limit, and warns you in the results if any file was close to the threshold.

We use a simple credit system. Each optimization costs 1 credit. You can buy 5 credits for $4.99 or 10 credits for $7.99. That's less than $1 per vehicle — compared to $5-$45 per vehicle on Fiverr for manual optimization that takes 24-48 hours. Create a free account to get started.

Yes! Upload your full car pack ZIP and we'll detect and optimize every vehicle inside it. You can choose to output them as separate resources (each in their own folder) or as a merged car pack with a single fxmanifest. One credit per vehicle in the pack.
